I am Missing Everything....

I miss you when something really good happens, because you are the one I want to share it with. I miss you when something is troubling me, because you are the one who understands me so well. I miss you when I laugh and cry because i know that you are the one that makes my laughter grow and my tears disappear. I miss you all the time, but I miss you most when i lay awake at night and think of all the wonderful times we spent with eachother;for those were some of the best times of my life.”

I know na after our graduation last October 29, 2009 at Mall of Asia - SMX, may kanya-kanya na kaming buhay na magkakaibigan.

Well, ganito pala ang feeling after ng graduation. Hayz!

Haha!

I Enjoyed My Century Bangus Fillet at Mt. Calavite

I spend my time travelling and enjoying the beauty of nature in a different perspective. We often say nature can only be appreciated thru our eyes. Imagine if you can hear the birds sing melodies of freedom, feel the wind in your face as it sway the trees, taste the fruits that grew thru time and nurtured by the elements, smell the grass as it’s scent relaxes and relieves your stress, and much more that nature can provide with all its glory. You can really realize that this is the beauty of GOD’s creations.

After our batch graduation last October 30, 2009 at Mall of Asia - SMX, some of my friends flew to abroad and some never showed their presence not even a text message, I feel so lonely and left out but I think that we just need a trigger so all of us can have fun and rejoice the company of one another. I planned to climb Mt. Calavite in Occidental Mindoro with my friends last November 16, 2009. At the top of this mountain, you can really view the whole Municipality of Paluan, including some part of the neighboring municipalities and Batanggas, and that is a spectacular scene to see.

I posted an announcement on Facebook and on Friendster about this mountain climbing. Jesse, Von (Edgar), Bon (Jeric), MJ and I are the ones who took the challenge for the mountain climbing. My mom cooked some rice, but I never thought that it’s not enough for the five of us, our supplies like cans of Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet and gadgets like flashlights,

A tricycle driver drove us to the foot of the mountain, where some natives of Mindoro called “Mangyan” lives, we met our guide who is the vice mayor of their community. The guide told us that we can reach the top in just four hours and I thought immediately that the climb would be easy. Mount Calavite has a peculiar formation, it’s like 3 mountains stocked together side by side one higher than the other and each mountain top has grassy plains.

As we are climbing the mountain, our guide explained some rules about the animals and plants that should be avoided, the thing that stunned me is there are many lich in the ground, the natives called them limatik, it’s hard to take them out of your skin because their very slimy and they stick to you with their teeth immediately, in addition to that the incline of the path we are climbing is like seventy five degrees, which is hard because you don’t have enough foot hold on the ground.

Limatik - mga maliliit na klase ng LINTA! Naninipsip din ng dugo...

It was already 12:15 in the afternoon when I asked if we can rest and eat our lunch, the bad news is we forgot to bring a can opener where all of our food are canned goods, I remembered that I stocked in my other bag twelve Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet, which is a good news to us because we won’t have any trouble opening it. Tamang-tama for lunch!

The scenery of Mount Calavite is very peaceful; in fact we tried screaming and heard our echo across the mountain. After our lunch we continued to trek the plains leading to the next mountain slope, after a vigorous struggle we reached the second top at last, as I stepped on the grassy plain my knees just bend down because of exhaustion and I fell asleep for a while.

Ang napakalinaw na ilog at the top of the mountain.

Our guide woke us because we still need to walk 800 meters to reach the spring, as we are walking I noticed horses running and some looking at us, it was my first time to see wild horses and I thought how did they ever get to the top?

This is our video at the top of Mt. Calavite

Amazing! Isn't it?
Nabalutan kami ng ulap... And it feels like heaven! Haha!

The spring is simply amazingly beautiful; I never thought that there could be a spring in a mountain top. We set the camp where we will be sleeping; afterwards we gathered some dried woods for our bon fire. That evening was the coldest that I ever experienced, that even our bon fire did not keep us warm, so we decided to get together in my tent.

We opened my Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet as we enjoy each other’s company, we sang, we laughed out, and tell stories about our lives after the graduation, it was really a memorable experience in my life. We slept together in my tent because it is already freezing cold outside.

In the Morning while catching some rays, I thought we should have a game of who ever can finish a can of Century Bangus Fillet at the fastest time; whoever wins gets a price when we get back to town. It was so funny and I enjoyed every second while eating the Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet.

 Magandang morning!

Paunahang umubos ng Century Gourmet Bangus Fillet!
And the winner goes to... Wala!

This is the video

Before lunch we climbed down the mountain and reached the foot in 3 hours. The experience that we had is very memorable and the best part of that is we enjoyed every moment of it. Even though that our paths lead us to different direction; we still have time to enjoy one another and treasure our Friendship…
