Feels like a ‘Food Blogger!’

It’s my first time to be invited with an ‘eating event’ organized by Meralco. Dubbed as “Extra Jolt: An Energizing Evening with Meralco,” this event will present seven course of meal prepared using an induction cooker. Well, I am really not a food blogger, but I can’t deny the fact that I really love to eat! I think it’s really much evident with my figure right now. Haha!

Anyways, it’s nice to know that there are always more to eating than knowing the ingredients and the steps of cooking certain dishes. Just like the induction cooker which was presented to us by the hosts. Know more about the induction cooker via Meralco's website - http://www.meralco.com.ph/brightideas/

A perfect meal for me would be long meals with nice ambiance, good camaraderie with your mealmates whether to discuss interesting topics enough for the conversation going. After short introduction, Chef JJ Yulo (founder of Pinoy Eats World) together with Ms. Universe 2012 3rd Runner-up Shamcey Supsup started welcoming everybody.

Then Chef JJ presented the seven dishes and here are they:

Cesar Salad

Tunay na Tunay
Seared tuna with Ginger cream

Meralco-Liflower Soup
Cauliflower, Pine nuts, Chives

Chicken wings, Cilantro

Prawns, Chili, Basil

Kitayama beef, Mashed potatoes, Wing beans

Chocolate Bananas

It’s my first time to taste almost all of these dishes including the ‘sea-nergy’ because I am not into seafoods but I liked this prepared dish with chili and basil. It's a great night full of food and tasting!
