Boxing World Cup : Philippines VS Mexico

I watched this TV Special on ABS-CBN last Sunday (August 12, 2007) from the start 'till it ends.

Philippines boxers should include in their training regimen increasing their body mass by lifting weights and make themselves buff and tough. They looked really scrawny. It might not be the determining factor in winning a fight but it should help in one way or another.

The first 5 Pinoy fighters are really good at talagang sure win na ang laban nila. Is it overconfident siya masyado?

Gerry Penalosa : Wins!
Congratulations to all the Filipino Boxers! Itinaas na naman ninyo ang ating bandila!

Bautista lost but he did his best and we were still able to take home the trophy. This success will raise the recognition of Philippine boxing as one of the best in the world. I hope this success will continue and we will have more world champions.
