Am I a Looser?

Akala ko firm na or steady na ang decision ko not to come to Paluan this coming May 14, 2007 to vote pero hindi pala.

I posted out before that "I sometimes hate Paluan" most especially during election times kasi asar na asar ako of what's happening to all of the people out there. Parang perya...

Until now ay nag-iisip ako on what to do these times dahil sa napakaraming factors na nangyari this past 2 days.

1 week na lang for me to choose and decide what's right and what to do regarding this matter.

I love my family so so much and I don't want to loose them, that's why I am doing this. But then someone's giving me a favor, umuwi ako sa Mindoro para naman maayos ko ang nasirang damage between that pulitiko and my family.
There's always a choice".

Pero bakit ako, parang wala yata? Am I a looser now? What do you think?

I'm so sorry dun sa mga taong natuwa or nag appreciate sa mga naging decision ko... but its not final yet... may ilang araw pa ako para mag isip.

yeah. that's why it's called a choice, coz you have the option to do this or not to do it.

but, remember that you have to choose only between or among good things. a choice of good things as they say.

you can get over with it
good luck

of course you are not a loser.

it's already a great deed on your part na maging matapang at ilabas ang sarili mong saloobin.

& the reaction is expected. there have been so many stories like this. & this is really how it goes sa ating mahal na bayan. nakakalungkot no?

expect more when someone galing sa munisipyo comes across this blog of yours. (remember may internet na sa munisipyo.) now you have the choice to delete all of this posts. hehehe...

when the matter gets worse, you may even receive threats like papatalsikin ang mommy mo sa "iriron" (",) o tatanggalin sa trabaho ang kuya mo. you might be aware that my nanay, who had been in paluan hospital even before i was born, was exiled to mamburao (at least sa mamburao lang) right after last elections. pero ibinalik rin siya pagkatapos makiusap sa mayor at sa gobernador, after 1 or 2 months ata un. kaya nga ngayong eleksyon, administrasyon raw siya. hehe.

on a serious note, the decision is really all yours. you have 3 choices: (1) huwag umuwi dahil exams mo; (2) umuwi at bumoto sa kandidatong gusto ng magulang mo; (3)umuwi at bumoto sa kandidatong gusto mo. i have written them in order of what i think will be less complicated for you. you have to weigh all the consequences, considering what you will feel after you have executed your decision.

Will they ever know if you actually vote for the other guy? Di naman ata di ba?

I think you can keep your family "safe" AND make a wise choice if you keep your vote to yourself.

And you man, you mean "loser" right? Sumobra ata ng "o". Hehe.

:) thanks!

A Bit of Advise to Richard Lionheart. .

I am a Palueño and I am saddened to come across "Why I Sometimes Hate Paluan" in the friendster blogs.

Why? What is happening to all of the people out here during elections? Ilang milyon ba ang prize ng Calawagan River noong nanalo bilang Cleanest Inland Body of Water in the Philippines?

It may really seem easy for you to believe that you live in your own world, with access to anything and everything that technology can provide. You are indeed very lucky that you are sheltered from the realities of your hometown. You asked: "Am I a looser now?” And you said: “ There’s always a choice.” This is a very true. So what are you waiting for? Why don’t you go home and vote for your chosen candidates? This is the essence of elections.

You are free to say anything and everything you want to say. But, a bit of advise: get your facts straight. Okay?

A RESPONSE TO ANONYMOUS'ADVICE:

seems you're the one whose being blinded by the benefits you reap from being an ally of your "highness". i will keep on praying that you come to your senses & realize the contribution you are giving towards the demise of our beloved hometown. i really get depressed with people who forsake the welfare of everyone just to satisfy their selfish motives. sana naman mahalin nyo rin nang tunay ang paluan..

It seems you really have a real talent of being TRUE TO YOURSELF. It really is something to admire. However, I think there are a few more things that you need to be called "admirable":

1. Think first before doing anything - you realize that you did something really stupid after hell breaks loose and its too late to make ammends.

2. There are things that needs to be kept inside the Family Circle - Does these words mean anything to you? Information that is completely yours to protect as an individual member of your own family, otherwise, things can get pretty ugly.

3. Learn when to shutup - Despite the fact that you already realized how deep the shithole you placed your own family into, you still have the guts to do sequels of your "heroic blogs". What the heck are you thinking?

4. Be original - You're thinking that everything you said is completely your original thought? Think again. Look around you. See the people who's giving you the "good influences", pushing you to the "right direction". Friends who admire what you are doing. Do you think they really care for your family's safety and pride?

5. Self-respect - if you can't respect your own parents, how can you respect yourself? How about your sister and brother? These people will do everything to keep you in the right track, give you the best future. The question is, can you do the same for them? Specially your sister? I extremely doubt it.

6. Simplicity - Yes, we all want to do our part to improve our society. But do you really have to hurt your family this much just to "true" to yourself?. Don't you have anything much "simpler" to do to support the things you believe in?

Now, to answer your question. Think about it, why do you need to ask this question? Don't you think you're a little insecure right now? I think you already know the answer to this question.

As for me..

YES, YOU ARE ONE HELL OF A LOOSER

Just trying to be true,

The Unmentionable

PS: By the way, why do you call yourself "Richard the Lionheart"?

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

hi.

first: good job!

third: the heck with politics. if they (the so-called politicians who wants us to get a better life) eh they don't have to pay us. You know.. sometimes, i think it would be better for us real Filipinos to leave the country. Parang the return of the Jews. Manood ka ng tv and you'll know what I mean.

Goodluck Pilipinas... Game ka na ba?
